The macro/mod wheel is an easy way to control the mod wheel or you can set it to any other target in the modulation matrix. In the four corners of the patch display are extra functions which include the mono/legato/polyphonic settings, pitch bend settings, microtuning modes and glide settings.īelow the patch display are settings to adjust the panning, volume, velocity amount, effects amount, macro/mod wheel control and glide time. You can also click on the name of the category or patch name to view a list to select from. Below the patch browser button is the patch display where you can use the left/right arrows next to the category and patch name to skim through patches. Patches can be rated using a five-star system and along the right side are the patch attributes and sound designer info. Along the left are the categories which include Arpeggiator, Bass, Brass, Keys, Leads, Organ, Pads and many others. Once Icarus 2 is loaded either in standalone version or in your DAW, you will have to activate it with a key file.Īt the upper left is the patch browser where you can load the vast collection of presets Tone2 has provided. The original Icarus was already an advanced wavetable synthesizer, but now it is also a synth-workstation.
